We’re playing catch-up this long weekend! Since the last update to #ottmusic weekly, so much new music has come out.
Listening to Ottawa-based artists like Jessica Pearson & The East Wind, and a few Ottawa exports like Maurice Moore, Apt613 music writers clocked at least eight fresh releases—and we’re sure there are more out there. If you hear a record we’ve missed, drop a line in the comments below.
Among the highlights for this past week, The Halluci Nation (formerly A Tribe Called Red) dropped an entire 15-track album called One More Saturday Night. Between the collaborations with Haviah Mighty, Tanya Tagaq, Odario Williams, and more extraordinary features, it was difficult to pick a single track to share with you. Do yourselves a favour and throw this album on from start to finish.
